As a supplier of electric drive technology, we are now offering a new series in the product catalog of worm gear motors product catalog. The new CM3G series series currently comprises two motor types. Both are very compact and flat, with a diameter of 33.8 mm our smallest worm geared motors in the portfolio. Small but mighty, they are very powerful and feature effective self-locking of over 10 Nm (CCW). The hollow shaft is a simple hexagon socket. A two-channel Hall-IC is built directly into the motor.
Fields of application for the CM3G series
A CM3G motor can be used wherever the advantages of a worm gear motor are required but only a small installation space is available. For example, they would be ideal for use in height-adjustable tables.
Key technical data of these small worm geared motors
The new CM3G series corresponds to the most common key data of our worm geared motors in most of its structural attributes. The crankcase is roller-burnished and corrosion-resistant. One armature bearing is a plain bearing, the other a cup bearing. The gearbox housing and gearwheel are made of plastic and require grease for permanent lubrication. Both electric motors are right and left-handed.
The technical data for these two DC geared motors differ in the left or right gear position, the drive shaft and the rated voltage of 12 or 24 Voltage. They operate at a rotation speed of 125 or 240 revolutions per minute with the same nominal torque of 4 Nm and a stall torque of 12 or 14 Nm.
All modifications according to requirements
Depending on the application, JBW modifies the output shaft with a feather key or woodruff key or an additional internal threat. The attachment of encoders, tachos or brakes is possible and is also carried out according to requirements. The same applies to the installation of attachments specified by the customer, such as clutches, rubber-metal buffers or angle brackets for installation.
The new CM3G series is the perfect addition to the product catalog of particularly small worm geared motors.
